Steve Rogers or Captain America is one of the important characters in Marvel, in the comics, as well as in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so discussing the facts about Captain America must be interesting.
Although often dubbed the First Avengers, it turns out that he wasn’t really the first. In the comics, the first member of the Avengers team is Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man, and The Wasp. Captain America himself is described as a character that the Avengers found when he was frozen, and then became part of the Avengers. For the movie, Captain America really belongs to the first group of Avengers, who unite against Loki.

Amazing Captain America
Captain America Shield
Captain America does have extraordinary fighting abilities, but this superhero is nothing without his shield. This shield is made of Vibranium, a material believed to be stronger than Adamantium, the metal that makes up Wolverine’s bones and claws. So strong that even Captain America’s shield is almost indestructible. Even a hit from the Hulk or Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, as in the first scene of The Avengers can’t break the shield.
But did you know that Captain America’s shield has many mysteries before finally becoming a ‘gimmick’ on the Uncle Sam’s signature superhero? Curious isn’t it? Let’s see together the following guys.
1. Allegedly Made of Stolen Vibranium
There are many theories that say that Captain America’s shield is made of Vibranium stolen from Wakanda. Vibranium is the strongest metal on Earth and can only be found in Wakanda. Because many are after him, making Wakanda hide the Vibranium and guard it tightly. So to be able to get it, there was an illegal trade that involved the creator of Captain America’s shield, Myron MacLain with one of the people who sold Vibranium.
2. Ever Used for Crime
Who would have thought that Captain America was told to have defected and joined Hydra. Through the comic Captain America: Steve Rogers Vol. 2: The Trial of Maria Hill which was released in 2017, it is said that Steve Rogers committed a crime with his shield due to the influence of the Red Skull.

Facts Chris Evan in Captain America
Chris Evans turned down three invitations to be Steve Rogers. The reason according to Evans is; “This is a decision that will affect my career in the next three, four, five, six years, so it relates about carefully.” Sure enough, his role as Captain America was very influential, building his own image as Steve Rogers. He’s been in this role for a long time. Chris Evans signed to be Captain America since 2010, and his character appeared on the big screen until Endgame in 2019. Another reason Evans turned down was because he was already Johnny Storm in Fantastic Four.
Steve Rogers does have this strong physical condition thanks to the results of the experiment, but not everything that is special about him comes from the bottle of serum. His leadership abilities, and wisdom are purely his own, including the ingenuity he possesses.
One of the things that stood out the most about Steve was his humility, self-sacrifice, and leadership. Seen from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, these three factors are Super Soldier serum users. Even so Steve is one of the very few truly good-hearted serum users, something even Zemo can’t deny.
