The life cycle of Digimon starts from the eggs, or you can call them Digi-Eggs. Digimon hatch from an egg and the process of their aging is called “Digivolution”. The “Digivolution” helps Digimon to change their appearance and increase their powers. But their power after Digivolution is not permanent. They will be back to their previous shape after losing a battle or feeling weak.
2. The Second Chance After Getting Fatal Wounds
Digimon is like real organisms because they are made of reconfigurable data. For example, Digimon that have fatal wounds will dissolve into infinitesimal bits of data. Furthermore, the data is recomposed as a Digi-Egg that will hatch while being rubbed gently. And their life cycle repeats.
3. Animated Series
The animated series was first aired in Japan on March 6, 1999. They began airing a television counterpart entitled “Digimon Adventure” on March 7, 1999. Besides Japan, they also aired 6 further series to other countries, including Western markets. This television series had become increasingly popular. The storyline of this animated series is about some pre-teens who accompany Digimon to defend themselves and our world from evil forces. The adventure becomes more complex because of the bond between Digimon and their masters (humans).
