Sun and moon are one of the Pokemon series. It is Pokemon season 20. The adventure starts in the summer. They are holding their summer vacation in the tropical Alola region. This vacation is not that easy. It turns into an exciting adventure in Ash Ketchum’s quest to be a Pokemon Master.
In this sunny new region, there are lots of new people to learn from and new Pokemon to discover. Two interesting people who give more exciting information and experience to Ash and Pikachu are Professor Kukui and Samson Oak.
1. The setting of Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Sun
The Alola region has a leading scientist, who is Professor Kukui. The term Kukui refers to a candlenut, a Hawaiian state tree, in that place. The writer, Shigeru Ohmori, even took a trip to Hawaii before producing this Pokemon Moon and Sun series. Because he needed to make everything look real and live.
2. Story of Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Sun
There is a youngster who moves from Kanto to Alola’s Melemele Island with his Mother. This series includes battles with powered-up Pokemon and battles with each island’s Kahuna. There is a various gang of people to challenge, they are Guzma and the gang, and Gladion.
3. Inspiration of Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Sun
This series, including the game, is inspired by two celestial bodies’ metaphorical representation of human relationships. The reason why the producer chooses Hawaii as the setting is due to its clear sky and sunshine. The setting of Hawaii truly resembles the name of the series: moon and sun. This game feels right and completed by the music. The composer, Junichi Masuda, uses traditional Hawaiian music styles to beautify the series of Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.
