1. What is the Name of the Sea-Witch?
Do you remember the sea witch? She didn’t have a name. It means she was not a prominent character. Especially if you watch the Hand Christian Andersen story that came and inspired the Little Mermaid.
2. The Shipwreck Animation
Animation movies are not easy. The animators have to do some research to find the most precise pictures. In this Ariel the Little Mermaid animation movie, the animator needed to study the Pinocchio involving Monstro. It was for creating the scenes of the shipwreck and Ursula’s emergence from the sea.
3. The Ariel Color
This is a scientific finding: the Ariel color. The blue-green hue of her fin was mixed by the Disney paint lab. This is a new color and they call it the Ariel color.
Moreover, Ariel’s red hair was also special. It was not a coincidence to put red as her hair color. It had a meaning, which is red and green are complementary colors. It was an effort to make Ariel real and being loved by people.
