Usually, one role is enrolled to an actor. But, it was not what happened with Frank Morgan. In the Oz, he played 5 different characters. There were professor Marvel, Gatekeeper, Carriage Driver, Guard, and Wizard of Oz. However, there were also a lot of casts that played more than one character. But, I still think five is too much.
Director that Keeps Changing
In Oz, there were four directors involved. So, nobody participated from the start until the end of the movie. The directors were Richard Trope, George Cukor, Victor Fleming, and King Vidor. Richard shot a section only, Victor was fired shortly, Victor left for the movie Gone With The Wind, and finished by King Vidor.
